The photo below was unavoidable, she knocked over a photo frame while trying to lie down on the speaker to take full advantage of the sunshine. there was almost enough room but not quite so she made room very gently.

Day 166
Apparently after a shower my skin is not clean enough. Nutty has been following me around licking my skin after I shower for the last week or so, it's quite bizarre. if i don't let her get even 1 or 2 licks in she gets quite upset, not aggressive at all but sort of cries out or wails for a few seconds repeatedly!

It's not an aberration. Pixel has been licking our feet and legs straight from the shower from when she was a little kitten :D

ReplyDeleteShe is obviously getting closer to us, letting her feral cat guard down. She bites and swipes less and less so long as we respect her space.

Hhmm... I wonder if she has a sodium deficiency? Or perhaps it's just her way of showing affection :) It's endearing, but from experience, their sandpapery tongues get annoying after a while!
ReplyDeleteShort bursts only for her sandpapery tongue. Asked an animal behaviour person today on facebook and she said it's just her way of showing we're part of her 'pride', that she's looking after us. :)
